Qasar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Applied Intuition, a company building cutting-edge tools and infrastructure for autonomous vehicles and complex simulation environments. Under his leadership, Applied Intuition has become a global category leader, supporting both commercial and defense customers.
Applied Intuition raised $600 million in its Series F round in June 2025, co-led by BlackRock and Kleiner Perkins. The round valued the company at $15 billion, more than doubling from its $6 billion Series E valuation in March 2024. Since its founding in 2017, the company has raised about $1.2 billion across seven funding rounds.
Before Applied Intuition, Qasar served as COO of Y Combinator, where he oversaw operations for the world’s most influential startup accelerator and worked directly with hundreds of founders, helping scale companies from idea to global scale. Prior to YC, he founded and sold TalkBin, a customer feedback platform that was acquired by Google. At Google, he became a Product Lead, working on Google Maps and other core products.
Qasar is also an angel investor and advisor, investing in over 100 companies. He has deep experience in scaling technical teams, navigating high-stakes fundraising, and guiding companies through critical inflection points. His career uniquely spans entrepreneurship, venture acceleration, big tech leadership, and defense technology, giving him an unparalleled perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing founders today.
