Crafternoon
Join us on June 14 on the LIC waterfront for Crafternoon, a free monthly gathering for anyone who wants to spend a Sunday afternoon making, creating, and connecting in community.
Bring your own project - sketching, knitting, watercolor, collage, beading, journaling, mending, or whatever you’re currently enjoying or experimenting. We’ll also have some shared art supplies on hand for anyone who wants to drop in and try something.
You're welcome to work quietly on a personal project, or chat, share materials and ideas, and meet new neighbors. Engage in whatever way feels most comfortable to you.
🗓️ Sunday, June 14th
🕟 4:30 - 6:00 PM
📍 Gantry State Park / LIC Waterfront
🎟️ Free
💛 Hosted by Jenny Jiang @collective.ripples
Beginner friendly — no art or craft experience necessary. Our gatherings center on exploration and play rather than perfection or productivity. There’s no instruction, critique, or expectation to make anything “good”. This is a space to slow down, relax, follow your curiosity, and make something alongside neighbors while enjoying views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.
Come solo or bring a friend! We believe creativity belongs to everyone, and we’re excited to share a welcoming, low-pressure space where people can gather, create, and connect.
We’d love to see you there! Please RSVP so we can get a sense of attendance and bring enough supplies for everyone. 🎨💛
