Workshop - Build a Streamlined Lead Follow-Up Workflow from Your CRM Data
Following up with customer leads sounds simple, but in practice it's one of the easiest things to let slip. Contact details live in your CRM, notes are spread across different records, last-contacted dates are buried in fields no one checks daily, and there's no clear view of which leads need attention right now. The result: promising conversations go cold, follow-ups get missed, and deals quietly fall through the cracks.
In this intermediate workshop, we'll build a Lead Follow-Up Command Center in Bolt that pulls your CRM data into a focused daily workflow. Instead of scanning through rows of contacts trying to figure out who needs a reply, you'll have a clean workspace that surfaces overdue follow-ups, shows you the full context for each lead, and uses AI to draft personalized outreach so you can act on it immediately.
What we’re building:
A Bolt app that connects to Attio (or works with sample data) and brings lead, company, owner, source, status, and notes into one view. Users can filter leads by status or source, spot who's overdue for a follow-up, read AI-generated summaries of each lead, and draft personalized next-step messages — all without switching between tools.
You'll learn how to:
• Design an internal tool around a high-value lead follow-up workflow • Use MCP to connect your app to CRM data from external systems like Attio
• Build a command center that surfaces overdue and at-risk leads
• Use AI to summarize lead context, recommend next actions, and draft follow-up messages
• Handle permissions and sensitive customer data responsibly • Create a reliable fallback with sample CRM data when a live integration isn't available
Skills:
MCP concepts, CRM workflows, B2B dashboards, lead follow-up workflows, AI-generated summaries, business workflow design
Difficulty: Intermediate
