Conscious Cass' Annual Cookie & Clothing Swap
ββHey there, welcome to the Conscious Cass community!
βββπͺ General Description
βA cookie & clothing swap where attendees are asked to bring about two dozen servings of plant-based baked goods, preferably a cookie or square. Sourcing ingredients through low-waste means, such as by bringing your own containers to Bulk Barn (they offer a discount for doing so on Sundays), is also encouraged. For the clothing swap, attendees are asked to bring seasonal clothing, shoes and accessories. Leftover items will be donated to New Circles. This is an opportunity to try tasty treats, refresh your wardrobe and meet new people!

βSome coffee and tea will be available (plant-based options only).
βββπ€ Community Building
ββCass will facilitate an activity to ensure attendees have an opportunity to get to know one another.
βποΈ Ticket Price
βTickets are pay what you can (or free). Those who pay at least $10 will be entered into a draw for a door prize of sustainable goodies valued at $50. Ticket fees are used to cover venue cost and coffee/tea supplies.
βββπ About Conscious Cass
ββWhat started as a personal journey into low-waste, plant-based living eight years ago, has grown into an incredible community of people looking to change the way we live. Initially, Conscious Cass began with me sharing sustainable living tips on social media and eventually launching consciouscass.ca, a go-to guide for sustainable living in Toronto. Since then, Iβve hosted cozy events at my apartment like Cookie & Clothing Swaps and Conscious Cass Cafes before expanding to public events like workshops and the first Conscious Coffee Party. I also run a newsletter filled with practical sustainability tips and reflections, plus a curated list of local events, helping you live (and shop) a little more mindfully in the city.
