Women for Rhinos: A Night for Wildlife, Women & the Future
Hosted by Kristina Anguelova,
Part of the HER Planet Earth South Africa Expedition 2025
In collaboration with South African Chamber of Commerce in Singapore
We are hoping that you can join us for this special evening dedicated to rhinos and to the Black Mambas, South Africa’s first all-female anti-poaching unit, who protect this beautiful species.
Film Screening & Discussion
The evening will begin with an exclusive screening of the award-winning documentary STROOP: Journey into the Rhino Horn War, a gripping exposé on the global rhino horn trade and the human stories behind it. It will take us from South Africa to Asia and give us an understanding of the sophisticated and systemic challenge that is illegal rhino horn trade.
Following the screening, we will hear from key figures in the space. We will have a short Q&A discussion featuring Craig Spencer, Founder of the Black Mambas, a representative from Kruger National Park, and Christine Amour-Levar, Founder of HER Planet Earth, the global non-profit that is behind the November expedition to South Africa.
6:00 PM: Registration
6:30 - 7:30 PM: Film screening
7:30 - 8:15 PM: Q&A
8:30 PM: Closing (optional: guest can go over to the restaurant for dinner)
This evening is more than a screening, it’s an invitation to witness one of the most powerful wildlife stories ever told and to reflect on what it means for all of us. The poaching crisis in Africa isn’t just an African problem. It’s a global one, deeply intertwined with markets, mindsets and choices across Asia and beyond.
Through film, conversation, and community, we’ll explore how our world is connected, how the fate of the rhino mirrors the state of our planet and what each of us can do to make a difference.
Here in Singapore, we are privileged to live in a place of stability, safety and abundance. With that privilege comes an opportunity to use our influence for good, to ensure that our children and all future generations can still experience the wild beauty we have the luxury of witnessing today.
Tickets
All proceeds from the evening will go directly to the Black Mambas and their anti-poaching efforts.
