About Event

Join us for a gentle, guided plant walk through public lands in Dulzura, CA.

Held on the last Thursday of every month, this easy 2-mile walk departs from Wild Seeds Ranch West into nearby BLM lands. Together, we’ll attune to the spirits of the land and explore the wisdom of native plants through ancestral plant wisdom traditions.

🌾 During our time together, we will:

  • Practice plant meditation and mindful attunement — Slow down and reconnect with nature through meditation practices designed to deepen your relationship with the living world around you.

  • Offer gratitude and offerings before harvesting — Learn traditional reciprocity practices before harvesting, rooted in ethical wildcrafting and earth-based spirituality.

  • Journal intuitive messages from plant elders — Tap into your own intuition as you receive and record messages from the plant spirits and elders of this land.

  • Discuss ethical herbalism and plant safety — Gain practical, beginner-friendly knowledge about native plant identification, foraging safety, and sustainable harvesting practices.

  • Share the history and stewardship of the land — Discover the rich cultural and ecological history of Dulzura's public lands and how we can be better stewards of this beautiful San Diego backcountry.

  • Work with native plant monographs — Take home detailed plant profiles with detailed recipes to continue your herbalism journey long after the walk ends.

☀️ Please bring the following to our walk:

  • Sunblock

  • Hat or Umbrella

  • Water Bottle

  • Comfortable Shoes

  • Journal and Pen (Optional)
