DataFest 2025 Pre-Event at Amara Hub
DataFest Africa is an event organized by Pollicy that seeks to celebrate data use in the East African region by bringing together various stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, such as government, civil society, donors, academia, students and private industry experts, under one roof and theme.
To decentralize this dialogue, this satellite pre-event hosted by Amara Hub creates space for underrepresented voices to shape the region’s data future in alignment with the festival’s objectives. Guided by the question ‘How do we turn local data into local power?’, our sessions will focus on practical, action-oriented reflections on building a data future that empowers and serves people at the grassroots.
