V2 DAO Collective Sensemaking #2: Governance as Security Infrastructure
Governance is often treated as overhead until something breaks.
But failures in authority, accountability, resource allocation, coordination, and response can eventually become economic and security risks: capture, unsafe changes, underfunded security work, delayed incident response, lost institutional knowledge, or simply organizations that can no longer act when they need to.
For the second V2 DAO Collective Sensemaking session, we want to make that relationship more legible.
We’ll bring a working model and a small set of cases. Participants will help test the model, identify missing pathways, and sharpen the language connecting governance failures to economic and security risk.
If we want governance to receive serious attention and investment, we need to become better at explaining what risk it prevents, what value it protects, and what better governance actually changes.
