Ever wanted to run away and join the circus? 🎪
We're spending an afternoon with a local circus group, trying our hand at circus skills in a two-hour workshop designed for complete beginners!
With two experienced instructors guiding us, we'll explore different sides of the circus, from classic circus skills to aerial activities.
What can you expect?
Circus skills: An introduction to circus disciplines, potentially including juggling, balancing and beginner acrobatics.
Aerial silks: Discover the suspended fabrics and learn introductory movements.
Trapeze: Try the suspended bar and explore basic aerial positions with guidance.
What to know
All experience levels welcome, including complete beginners
Two-hour guided workshop with equipment provided
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
The workshop will be led by 2 expert female instructors!
About GLIU
Girls Leuven It Up is an independent social club launched in June 2026 to bring women in their 20s and 30s together through fun-first activities where friendships can form naturally 💙
GLIU is run by one organiser as a passion project, with support from a small team of volunteers who help events go smoothly on the day.
