How about taking a deep collective breath as a start for the new year?
In these session you will be guided on an inner journey through a simple yet effective technique often referred to as “connected breathing”. We start with grounding exercises and close our circle with some sharings and tea. The sessions are based on Holotropic and Rebirthing breathwork principles.
Conscious connected breathing is an ancient, safe method to release obsolete thoughts, stuck feelings and break toxic patterns. This can lead to deep insights and physical releases. Breathwork is a healthy, safe and self-induced method for inner explorations.
During this 2 hour session we will create a safe and grounded container for deep inner work with maximum 9 participants. No prior experience or knowledge is required, new and experienced “breathers” are welcome.
PRACTICAL INFO
Location: Merci Wellness (St. Gilles)
Time: 19:00 - 21:00 (Walk in from 18:45)
Language: French/English/Dutch (depending on group)
Level: No experience required
Wear comfortable clothes, avoid heavy meals prior to the session (empty stomach is ideal), basic (yoga) mat and blanket are provided, feel free to bring your own comfort items!
Contraindications for breathwork: Asthma, epilepsy, pregnancy, cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure, diabetes. Breathwork is not suited if you are suffering from severe mental disturbances.
