​How do AI and big data help us better understand a city’s needs, problems, and opportunities?

​For urban researcher and PerigonAI co-founder and CSO Gevorg Yeghikyan, this is both a daily question and an ongoing challenge. PerigonAI solves a wide range of data-driven problems – from optimizing public services and forecasting sales to supporting decision-making processes – working with organizations such as Honda, Starbucks, Saudi Arabia's municipal authorities, as well as other international and local companies and public-sector institutions.

​During his session at TUMO Labs, Gevorg will discuss why cities that start from similar points in history evolve so differently over time. He will also explore what historical data and patterns from other cities can reveal about the future development of Yerevan.

​One of the key themes of the session will be how AI, big data, and geospatial analysis help solve complex urban challenges and build more organic connections between cities and businesses.
