Critical Tech Happy Hour: Underrepresented Builders + Backers
The NYC Founder Fellowship returns for its fifth year, supporting underrepresented founders building critical technology for the future. Led by Newlab with NYCEDC, Bank of America, and Gunderson Dettmer, the program equips 15 selected startups with the resources and network to scale in Brooklyn — including a year-long Newlab membership for up to two co-founders, hands-on technical support, investor connections, mentorship, and the opportunity to receive up to $75,000 in investment from Newlab.
To mark the opening of applications for the 2026 cohort, join us for a happy hour with fellow underrepresented founders, investors, and operators in Critical Tech. Connect with the community, meet the Newlab team, and learn more about the fellowship.
Hope to see you there!
