Join localhost:nyc for a one-day, in-person hackathon where NYC's best builders get their hands on AI necklaces and build apps and agents that make always-on AI useful.
Problem Statement
AI wearables can capture everything you hear and say, but most of that context goes unused. Your challenge: build an app, agent, or experience for an AI necklace that turns that context into something that makes someone's day better.
The Challenge Theme
Memory on demand ("what did my landlord say about the lease?")
Meeting copilots: action items, follow-ups, CRM updates handled for you
Social superpowers: remember names and context from everyone you meet
Health, wellbeing, and habit nudges
Learning: language practice, lecture capture, personal tutors
Agent actions: the necklace hears it, an agent does it
What to Expect
Hands-on time with Omi AI necklaces and a live demo of the Omi developer platform
A full day of building with the device, SDK, and AI tooling
Small teams or solo builders (your choice, we'll match you if you need a team)
