Peninsula Car-Free Happy Hour in San Bruno!
Join us at the March Peninsula Car-Free Happy Hour in San Bruno to meet other people who are car-free and car-light, and to gather signatures for Connect Bay Area, the five-county regional transit funding measure!
No agenda. Just good conversation with Peninsula neighbors who care about transit, car-free living, and building better communities.
No café this time — bring your own coffee, lunch, or drink and picnic with us in the plaza.
Getting there is easy:
• Caltrain to San Bruno Station (~5 min walk up San Mateo Ave)
• BART to San Bruno Station at Tanforan (~10–15 min walk south through downtown)
• SamTrans ECR to San Bruno Ave, then a short walk
• Bike in on Centennial Way trail or along San Mateo Ave
Whether you're a daily Caltrain commuter, an urbanist, or just someone who'd rather not own a car — this one's for you.
No experience necessary. You just need to be 18 years old to gather signatures. If you're under 18, let us know at connectbayarea26@gmail.com as there are many other ways to be involved and help!
