Oxford Health, Life Sciences & Innovation Social
A fortnightly gathering that brings together Oxford's biomedical, healthcare and innovation community.
Our aim is simple: to create an open, welcoming space where people from across disciplines can meet, share ideas and build meaningful connections. Whether you're an undergraduate, graduate student, researcher, clinician, entrepreneur or simply curious about the future of healthcare and the life sciences, you're welcome to join us.
Oxford is home to an incredible community spanning medicine, biology, biotechnology, engineering, computer science, AI, chemistry, public health, entrepreneurship and many other fields. Yet opportunities to meet people beyond your own course, department or society are surprisingly rare. Oxford Bio Social exists to help bridge those communities.
There is no agenda, no formal networking and no expectation to know anyone before you arrive. Whether you're hoping to make new friends, discover exciting projects, explore different career paths, find collaborators or simply become part of Oxford's wider life sciences community, this is a space designed for everyone.
Hosted every other Wednesday during term in collaboration with Oxford's biomedical and innovation societies, the social is built around one idea: bringing together the people who are shaping the future of healthcare, science and technology in an environment where everyone feels welcome.
