Join Context Ventures for a private dinner with Han Kim of Altos Ventures.
This will be a curated evening bringing together a small group of founders, investors, and operators for thoughtful conversation and relationship building. Attendance will be intentionally limited to approximately 20–25 guests to allow for meaningful interaction throughout the evening.

Han Kim is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Altos Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm managing over $10 billion in assets. Since co-founding the firm in 1996 alongside his Stanford GSB classmate Ho Nam, Han has been a pivotal force in bridging the technology ecosystems of the United States and South Korea. He is widely recognized for his early-stage investments in some of Korea’s most successful "unicorns," including Coupang, Woowa Brothers (Baedal Minjok), Krafton, and Viva Republica (Toss), as well as global leaders like Roblox. His investment philosophy emphasizes purpose-driven growth and long-term partnership, often working with companies for over a decade to help them scale from fledgling startups into global market leaders.
Before entering venture capital, Han served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, leading both U.S. and Korean soldiers, an experience he credits for his disciplined, problem-solving approach to business. He also held professional roles at Booz Allen & Hamilton and Procter & Gamble. A committed member of the Stanford community, Han earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1994 and holds a B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He remains active in mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs and veterans, frequently hosting student groups and advising alumni on navigating the global tech landscape.
