​The Global South offers significant opportunities to deploy carbon dioxide removal (CDR) approaches that capture and permanently store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

​Across geographies, entrepreneurs are deploying CDR strategies that benefit local communities and economies while integrating with existing industries.

​This event will not only introduce and explore these projects, but make space for founders to get radically honest about them - sharing the ‘coin-flip’ moments that changed the course of their journey – and what it will take to catalyze gigaton-scale CDR in the Global South.

• ​Kicking off with a keynote address from Leila Topic, Chief Product and Go-to-Market Officer at South Pole, we will explore why the Global South, why now, and what the global vision of integrating CDR into existing industries means for the world economy.
