Young Davos: Directions for 2035
Young Davos: Directions for 2035 is a high-level, invitation-based side event bringing together 35 outstanding Young Leaders under 35 to collectively shape ideas, initiatives, and collaborations that can meaningfully address global challenges by 2035.
Inspired by the spirit of Davos and formats such as Forbes 30 Under 30, the event is designed as a working forum rather than a conference, focused on action, co-creation, and real-world impact.
Participants will engage in curated roundtable discussions across seven strategic sectors:
AI Governance & Ethics
Climate & Energy
Education & Work
Digital Privacy & Responsible Tech
Financial Access
Society & Culture
Defense & Dual-Use Technologies
Each roundtable is led by a Chair - a selected young leader.
Core questions we address:
What new platforms, initiatives, or collaboration formats are needed to tackle today’s social, environmental, and digital challenges more effectively?
How can young leaders connect their local knowledge, initiatives, and networks to amplify collective impact?
How do we engage more young people in meaningful, pro-social action?
Event format:
Discovery Phase: Mapping participants’ competencies, initiatives, and key sector challenges
Design Phase: Co-creating concrete initiatives or collaborative concepts
Pitch Phase: 3-minute pitches
Networking: High-quality connections between Young Leaders
Key outcomes:
One of the very few (if not the only) Davos side events dedicated exclusively to young leaders
New, actionable ideas for cross-sector initiatives and platforms
Meaningful intergenerational networking grounded in substance, not symbolism
Participation is application-based to ensure diversity, excellence, and depth of discussion. The focus is on quality over quantity, creating a trusted space for ambitious, impact-driven leaders shaping the road to 2035.
