Teaching Refresher: Differentiating Phonics

​Hello Teachers,

​This free, voluntary and practical session supports educators in meeting diverse learner needs through intentional phonics differentiation within the Air Reading curriculum. Participants will learn how to maintain whole-group instructional integrity while adjusting supports, practice, and pacing to ensure all students can access and master foundational reading skills.

​Grounded in the Air Reading methodology, the session explores how to use student data, lesson routines, and targeted scaffolds to differentiate phonics instruction without creating separate programs or increasing instructional complexity. Educators will gain clarity on when and how to adjust instruction, provide additional practice, and respond to student needs in real time.
