Soft Armor — Collection Unveiling & Art Installation
Soft Armor is a grant-funded fashion installation and runway performance by Crochet Haus.
Featuring 13 hand-crocheted sculptural garments and a walk-able art installation, Soft Armor explores softness as protection through an immersive runway experience. Each piece is constructed over weeks — forming a physical and emotional armor rooted in care, intimacy, and strength.
Presented inside the Tandy Garden at Central Library in downtown Tulsa, the performance transforms the space into a fashion exhibition where garment, body, and environment exist as one.
🅿️ Free parking available in the garage.
👗 Dress Code: Modern Armor & Soft Textures In honor of Soft Armor, we invite you to dress in a way that feels like your own sanctuary. Think: Structured silhouettes paired with soft knits, bold leathers with flowing silks, or your most powerful 'uniform' softened by your favorite accessory.
This project is supported by Thrive Grants, an initiative of Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) in partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. ThriveGrants.org
