AI Build Sprint Lisbon: Ship a Business App for Your Ops in 60 Mins

Skip the drinks night. Ship a business app for your ops during Web Summit week.

Web Summit is full of talk about AI. This is an evening for putting it to work on the operations problems your team deals with every day.

Join Softr on Wednesday 11 November at Hotel Tivoli Oriente, Lisbon, for the AI Build Sprint. You get 60 minutes to build a working business app for your ops with AI, 2 minutes to demo it, and a shot at the prize.

Think of the spreadsheet everyone is scared to touch, the approvals that live in email threads, or the client updates you send by hand every week. Bring that workflow, or use our ops brief, and turn it into an app your team can start using.

You don't need to know how to code. Bring a laptop and work solo or in pairs. The Softr team will be in the room to help you get unstuck.

How it works

• 19:00: Doors open, food, find a teammate

• 19:20: Ops brief reveal and a 10-minute Softr quickstart

• 19:30: The sprint starts. You have 60 minutes

• 20:30: Demos, 2 minutes per team

• 21:15: Judges deliberate and the audience votes for People's Choice

• 21:30: Winners announced, then drinks and networking until 22:00

What you're judged on

• Usefulness: does it fix an ops problem a team would recognise?

• Product decisions: what you built and what you chose to leave out

• Polish: does it feel good to use?

• Demo: how clearly you show it in 2 minutes

Prizes

• Main prize: Airpods Max

• People's Choice: Airpods Max

• Winners get featured on Softr's channels

Before you arrive

• Bring a charged laptop

• Have one ops workflow in mind that you'd love to fix

• Create a free Softr account at softr.io so you can start building as soon as the clock starts

Spaces are limited, so the event is approval-based.
