Software Factory #1 — Multi-Agent Orchestration Round Table
The way software gets built is splitting in two: humans who write code, and humans who run factories of agents that write code. If you're in the second camp — or trying to get there — this round table is for you.
Software Factory is a new SF Vibe House series about the operational reality of building with AI agents. Not the demos, not the hype — the actual management problem. How do you keep ten agents productive instead of ten agents confidently wrong? When do you run agents locally on your own machine versus in virtual/cloud sandboxes? What does an "agent management system" even look like — task queues, review gates, memory, escalation? And how do you close the loop so your agents get better every week instead of repeating the same mistakes?
We'll sit down (Japanese and Moroccan floor seating, as always) and go around the table. Every builder shares how they actually orchestrate their agents today — their stack, their workflow, their biggest failure mode. Then we go deep on the themes below.
Topics on the table:
•Managing AI agents — supervision models, human-in-the-loop vs. autonomous runs, when to trust and when to review
•Local vs. virtual development — local-first agent workflows vs. cloud sandboxes and remote VMs; cost, speed, security, and state trade-offs
•Agent Management Systems — the emerging "AMS" layer: orchestrators, task routing, multi-agent coordination, observability, and evals
•Self-improvement loops — feedback pipelines, memory, skill libraries, agents that critique and retrain their own workflows
•Team topology — one orchestrator with many workers? Peer swarms? What actually ships software?
•The economics — token budgets, parallelism, and where the ROI actually is
Who should come: Exited founders, PEFs, Superfounders, and technical founders who are actively running agents in their build process — or seriously about to. If you have an orchestration setup, bring your laptop and show it. If you have a hard question, bring that.
Schedule:
•6:00 PM — Arrive, meet and greet, settle in
•7:00 PM — Round table: lightning intros — your agent stack in 2 minutes
•7:45 PM — Deep-dive discussion: orchestration, local vs. virtual, AMS, self-improvement loops
•8:30 PM — Dinner
•9:15 PM — Open build: live workflow teardowns and vibe coding with your agents
House rules: No vendor theater. No pitching. No networking theater. Bring one real workflow, one real tool, or one hard question about running agents.
As always at the Vibe House: grounding mouse pads, no blue lights, organic teas, and an environment designed for peak performance. Come vibe, come build, come argue about orchestration.
