Speaker Profile

Dr. Marie Huc
Working with the Women's Brain Foundation for the past two years, Marie is currently a research fellow at the University of Ottawa's Institute of Mental Health research. She recently defended her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Carleton University. Her doctoral research was part of a larger project focused on characterizing distinct and overlapping neural features in healthy males and females and their relationship with sex hormones, using simultaneous EEG-fMRI. Marie is passionate about applying neuroimaging techniques to understand brain processes, mental health, and sex differences, with a particular interest in women’s brain health.
