​About Dr. Boyd Fowler

​A pioneer of CMOS image sensing — the technology behind every modern smartphone camera, medical imager, and machine-vision system. He co-founded Pixel Devices (acquired by Agilent), where he led the first 4T pinned photodiode pixels with TSMC — the breakthrough that enabled mobile phone cameras. He went on to serve as CTO at Fairchild Imaging (acquired by BAE Systems) and at OmniVision Technologies, before joining Bharat Semi as CTO in May 2025. He holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.

​About Vrinda Kapoor

​Vrinda is the Co-founder & CEO of Bharat Semi, building 3D-stacked image sensors with on-chip AI processing for Physical AI. She serves on NITI Aayog's Semiconductor Work Stream, sits on the National Council of the CII, and chairs CII's Defence Tech & Innovation Council.
