The Happy Hour Bookclub is a monthly Toronto meet-up for people who like good books, good cocktails, and discovering new bars around the city.

For our first session on Wednesday, October 7, we’re reading Women Talking by Miriam Toews. It’s short, unsettling, and full of things to unpack around womanhood, religion, repression, and freedom.

📍 Location: Library Bar, 100 Front Street W.

💸 $5 refundable RSVP deposit
The $5 is just to help us get an accurate headcount and avoid last-minute no-shows. You’ll get it back on the day of the book club when you attend.

Toronto Public Library has the book, ebook, and audiobook, and I can also share a PDF if needed.
