The word "agent" in an AI context is still relatively new, so let me define it:
An AI agent is an autonomous AI assistant that can help with useful tasks by making decisions and taking actions on your behalf.
But building robust AI agents involves more than just calling an LLM!
In this workshop, we'll cover:
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): Giving agents access to knowledge • TOOL CALLING: Enabling agents to take actions • MCP (Model Context Protocol): The new standard for agent-tool communication • PolySynergy: A complete agent management system for orchestrating complex workflows
We'll dive into: ✓ Live code examples ✓ Hands-on demos in PolySynergy ✓ Best practices for building production-ready agents
Currently, I'm working on practical examples that showcase the power of PolySynergy. Like this AI agent that handles a complete CRM process:
🤖 CRM Automation Agent: • Has RAG access to product knowledge • Retrieves customer data via SQL queries • Processes orders completely autonomously: - Creates customer "interaction" record in CRM (Supabase) - Creates order record - Generates invoice record - Creates a professional PDF invoice - Composes a polished email - Sends invoice as attachment to the client
