About Event

A friendly, casual photo walk in Omiya, Saitama City. No photography experience necessary, and taking pictures with your phone is just fine.

Though not technically in Tokyo, Omiya is a nice area and a great place for a photo walk. It's easy to get to, as well, including by express trains from Tokyo and surrounding areas. Heck, you could even come by Shinkansen if you wanted to.

Omiya is also very close to where I live, which is especially important right now since my daughter was born in August. I'm trying to make time for events like this, but for the time being I need to stay closer to home.

I'll update the event with more info and an exact meeting place once it gets a bit closer. We'll probably head over to Hikawa Jinja and Omiya Park, but overall the route will stay loose, as usual.

The photo walk will happen rain or shine.

NB: I'm requiring approval for this event, but only to discourage bad-faith individuals.
