How we dine is how we live: Brazilian dinner.
How We Dine Is How We Live
Brazilian Dinner & Cultural Evening
7:00–9:00 PM
How We Dine Is How We Live is a cultural dinner series by Socialoftas, where people gather to experience cultures through food, stories, and shared presence.
This edition invites you to a Brazilian dinner, offering a complete culinary and cultural experience. We come together in a relaxed, living-room setting — sitting on couches, chairs, and carpets — to eat, listen, and exchange in a warm, informal atmosphere.
The evening’s menu centers around Brazilian feijoada (traditional black bean stew with pork), with a vegetarian alternative prepared without pork. The meal is served with white rice, farofa (toasted cassava flour), sautéed collard greens, and a simple dessert of pineapple with sugar and cinnamon. A tasting of a traditional sugarcane drink with lemon will also be offered.
Alongside the meal, there will be a short introduction to the dish and its cultural background, a presentation of key Brazilian ingredients, light interaction, and Brazilian music playing in the background.
This is a shared evening, not a formal dinner or workshop — the focus is on comfort, culture, and being together.
