Product Salon: Breakfast with a Venture Capitalist
Join a curated group of product and engineering executives for a candid, off-the-record conversation about building and backing enduring products and teams.
Over coffee and breakfast, we’ll dig into how VCs evaluate product strategy, technical moats, and execution quality at early and growth stages, and what “compelling” looks like in today’s funding environment.
We’ll also explore topics from leaders in larger organizations to bridge the divide between operating at scale and supporting earlier-stage companies, including org design for product–engineering collaboration, navigating roadmap tradeoffs under board pressure, how investors think about AI-native products and platform risk, and practical approaches to investing in venture capital as an asset class (from direct angel checks to funds and SPVs).
This session is intentionally small (25 attendees) to enable real dialogue. Come ready to exchange perspectives with peers who are operating at scale and looking to deepen their ability to mentor and contribute to 0–1 founders, while also sharpening their own approach to participating in the venture ecosystem.
This event is hosted by partners at Progressive Ventures and is open to Directors and above in later stage companies.
