On Our Way to Airflow Summit 2026!

​Attention Data & ML professionals in Austin,

​This year's edition of Airflow Summit, the annual conference organized by the Apache Airflow community, will take place in Austin. Although the summit will be until late summer (August 31 to September 2), we are starting warmup activities now with a meetup where we will have great talks, delicious food and exclusive swag.

​Talks:

• ​Orchestrating Apache Spark with Airflow: Design Tradeoffs for Performance & Cost, by Meni Shmueli (Dataflint).
  We’ll explore how to structure Spark workloads within Airflow, covering cluster strategies, parallel vs. sequential execution, and how to benchmark pipelines effectively. We’ll also look at emerging approaches like Spark Declarative Pipelines.

• ​Semiconductor (Chip) Design Workflow Orchestration with Airflow, by Dheeraj Turaga (Qualcomm).
  See how Qualcomm uses Airflow to orchestrate the hundreds of complex workflows that allow the development of a chip design from the early RTL stage all the way to the final GDS layouts and physical implementation.

​We will have plenty of delicious BBQ, drinks and Apache Airflow swag. We will also raffle a ticket to attend Airflow Summit 2026 for free.
