Seeds of the Future: A Native Food Garden Workshop
What if the solution to climate resilience and food sovereignty was already growing beneath our feet?
Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Rooreh, a delicious, climate-adapted native plant that thrives right here in California — and tastes just like spinach!
🪴 About the Workshop
We’ll share a short, inspiring talk about native food systems, sustainability, and how Indigenous knowledge points toward a different food future. You’ll taste fresh Rooreh (raw + prepared), learn its history and nutritional benefits, and then plant your own seeds to take home.
Leave with your own pot of planted Rooreh, plus care instructions and recipe ideas for when they bloom!
✨ This event is FREE and all supplies are provided.
