About Event

Hosts: BLESS Indonesia, Climate Breakthrough, TINTA - The Invisible Thread

We all talk about impact. But how often do we talk about what didn’t work?

In climate and social change work, setbacks are everywhere - stalled strategies, fragile partnerships, policies that didn’t land, experiments that failed, and leaders quietly hitting their limits. Yet these stories rarely make it to the stage. They get edited out or buried under success metrics. What if those moments are actually where the real learning lives?

Join us for #FailFest, a participatory session that treats failure not as weakness, but as intelligence. Together we’ll explore what becomes possible when setbacks are examined honestly and when learning is designed into the system, rather than left to chance. Co-hosted by BLESS Indonesia, Climate Breakthrough, and TINTA – The Invisible Thread, this gathering will feature curated #FailFest storytellers from different continents and across diverse roles in the impact ecosystem. Confirmed storytellers include: Savanna Ferguson (Climate Breakthrough), Fito Rahdianto (Earth-Centered Economy Coalition | Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi), Leticia Doormann (TINTA - The Invisible Thread), Matt Leggett (Terratai), Saskia Tjokro (ANGIN Foundation) and others to follow soon!

Expect honest stories, open-mic reflections, small-group conversations, and collective pattern-spotting. We also want to hear from you in the room. Let’s look beneath outcomes and ask: what do breakdowns reveal about pace, pressure, incentives, and leadership capacity?

You’ll leave with clearer language for hidden risks, renewed courage to name what’s not working, and a stronger sense that you’re not carrying this work alone.

If you believe learning is infrastructure - come join the #FailFest circle. Space is limited, so register now!
