Anti-racism Training

​This is a 2-hour online session for anyone who wants to explore anti-racism in a thoughtful, practical, and supportive way.

​No prior knowledge is needed. This is a welcoming space to learn together, reflect at your own pace, and think about what meaningful anti-racist change can look like in everyday life.

​What we’ll explore

• ​The difference between race, ethnicity and nationality.

• ​Racism as a system - how identity, power, and bias shape our experiences and interactions

• ​Why the past still shapes the present, and how understanding this can help us make more intentional choices

• ​Being more intersectional in our anti-racism.

​As with all Sorabird training, this session uses Liberatory Pedagogy, so that we can all learn together and embrace what we already know to be true as we design the future we want to see.

​About the facilitator

​This session is facilitated by Sellisha, founder of Sorabird Co, an inclusive wellbeing platform supporting individuals and organisations to move away from harm and towards more inclusive, caring ways of working.

​Her work is rooted in intersectional and anti-discriminatory practice, informed by lived experience and years of supporting people and organisations to understand how systems of oppression impact wellbeing. Her approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on real-life change.
