VR Pitching Studio (Fall 2025 Cohort)
Program Duration: October 2 - 10, 2025
🎙️ Pitching is a core skill for any entrepreneur (and anyone in general!). Whether you’re showcasing an idea to potential investors, presenting at a hackathon, or sharing a passion project — delivering a clear and compelling pitch is crucial.
The VR Pitching Studio is a multimodal program designed to help students master the art of pitching business and venture ideas (or anything!). Combining web-based interactive simulations with immersive Virtual Reality environments, the bootcamp offers a unique, hands-on learning experience. Participants receive real-time AI-generated feedback, virtually simulated environments, investors, Q&A, and engage in expert-led sessions both online and in person.
Offered by the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (COIE), the VR Pitching Studio supports Centennial College students in building essential soft skills for entrepreneurial success—in school, at incubators, and beyond.
On completion of the program students will receive Certification in VR Pitching from COIE, as well as access to follow up mentorship for business development.

💻 VR Pitching Studio Orientation (Online)
📅 Thursday, October 2 | 🕐 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Kick things off with a deep dive into the VR Pitching Studio! You’ll get set up on the VirtualSpeech platform, explore the Public Speaking Mastery course, and start building the foundations of your pitch.
💻 VR Pitching Studio Check-In (Online)
📅 Monday, October 6 | 🕐 1:00 – 2:00 pm
Time to level up your pitch game! We’ll troubleshoot any VR quirks, sharpen your ideas and structure, and run practice rounds. You’ll also get an overview for what to expect on the in-person VR Day 1!

📅 Wednesday, October 8 | 🕐 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Game time! Step into VR and practice pitching with real-time feedback. Through group activities and individual coaching, you’ll refine your ideas, test your delivery, and start spotting your communication strengths and where you can improve.

Lights, camera, pitch! Today is about polishing delivery — eye contact, body language, and presence — before stepping onto the virtual stage. The program wraps up with the Pitch Gala, where you’ll present your pitch and have a chance to win some awards!

For our winners, the journey continues! Learn about funding pathways, incubator opportunities, and accelerator programs. You’ll also co-create a personalized roadmap to take your venture from idea to launch.
