🕯️Sunday Service [public]

​As humans, we all share a longing for connection to life and to each other. We want to belong to and be in service of something bigger than ourselves, whether we imagine that thing as family, community, God, nature, life, or something else.

​Sunday Service is a space to tend to this universal longing in community. We want to find rest and nourishment in the togetherness of our questions, without the need to agree on our answers. Each week, we will gather around ancient practices of singing, meditation, and prayer to reconnect with a deep sense of belonging to ourselves, each other, and the world.

​We’ve described it as a secular church service, a communal ritual, a weekly community gathering. Feel free to use language that speaks to you. We’ll borrow from various wisdom traditions but won’t espouse a specific belief system or attempt to create one. Feel free to come with your own story of the world. 

​It’s a nuanced project with a lot of open questions, each of them deserving a lifetime of inquiry and conversation. We will make space for them as they become relevant for our community. 

​In the meantime, let’s gather to fill our cups, so that we may pour out to the world.
