About this training
Become a certified Climate Fresk facilitator and start running climate awareness workshops as a volunteer. Climate Fresk is a collaborative, card-based workshop that helps participants understand the causes and consequences of climate change through the IPCC's own findings and, crucially, what can be done about it.
This 3-hour session is delivered in English. By the end, you'll be certified to run Climate Fresk workshops yourself, in a volunteer capacity, for schools, communities, associations, or your own network.
Your trainer: Minami Shinohara
Minami is a certified Climate Fresk professional facilitator and trainer, and a co-coordinator of Climate Fresk Japan. She has led dozens of workshops for companies, students and the general public, in Japanese and English. She holds additional facilitator certifications in Biodiversity Collage, 2tonnes, Gender Equity Collage and more. A member of the Ichigo Bloom collective, Minami moved into sustainability education from a background in HR, and is known for bringing warmth and energy to her sessions, making climate education engaging for newcomers.

This session certifies you to facilitate as a volunteer, for free or donation-based workshops outside a commercial context. If you intend to run Climate Fresk workshops professionally (for paying clients or at your company), a different professional facilitator training is required.
