The BuidlHack Series is a workshop program designed to help builders explore leading Web3 ecosystems and discover where their ideas can turn into real products.
Rather than being just another hackathon preparation session, the series acts as a builder pipeline: introducing participants to real ecosystems, real opportunities, and real product directions before BuidlHack begins.
Each session focuses on a specific ecosystem and helps builders understand:
• what the ecosystem is building
• what opportunities exist for developers
• what types of projects are currently in demand
• how teams can align their ideas with real ecosystem needs
Instead of discovering these insights during the hackathon itself, builders can use the workshop series to prepare in advance, refine their ideas, and approach BuidlHack with clarity.

🌐 About Status Network
You may remember Status from SNT and the Status messenger — a privacy-first mobile wallet and chat app that pioneered censorship-resistant communication on Ethereum. Status Network is the next chapter: a full Layer 2 blockchain inheriting that same DNA — privacy, anti-censorship, and permissionless access — now applied at the infrastructure level. It is built to give builders and users a fundamentally better onchain experience.
Status Network is the first natively gasless Ethereum L2, built on the Linea zkEVM stack, with composable privacy and built-in spam protection for both humans and bots.
⛽ Gasless by Default
No paymasters, no relayers — every address with Karma gets free transactions, enforced at the sequencer via ZK-based Rate Limiting Nullifiers (RLN). Works for human users and autonomous agents alike.
🔒 Composable Privacy
Privacy isn't a third-party add-on. The network already uses ZK proofs for its core gasless mechanism, and is designed to layer on additional privacy modules (stealth addresses, shielded transactions, private state) over time.
🤖 Human & Agent Friendly
Karma (soulbound reputation token) + RLN gives fair, Sybil-resistant access to both humans and bots. Legitimate agents earn Karma and transact freely; spammers get rate-limited cryptographically.
💰 Sustainable Public Funding
A continuous funding pool (not one-time grants) fed by native yield, DEX fees, and premium gas. Karma holders vote on allocation. More traction → more Karma → more funding.
