WOMEN IN RETAIL by autone (feat Shopify) : Female Leadership : How to Lift Each Other Up
This edition of Women in Retail by autone, in collaboration with Shopify, is an invitation to explore what happens when authentic leadership meets collective ambition.
Retail is full of women: passionate, creative, intuitive.
And yet, the higher we climb, the fewer of us we see.
The rooms change. The tone changes. The codes too.
This panel is not another talk about female empowerment.
It is a deeper conversation about how leadership actually feels when you are a woman navigating ambition, expectations, and your own voice.
We want to move beyond the clichés and ask the real questions.
What does female leadership mean today, not in theory but in practice?
How does it shape the way we decide, lead, set boundaries, and support others?
What can this different way of leading teach us about empathy, impact, and influence?
That empathy is not softness, it is strength with awareness.
That impact is not about taking space, but creating it.
That influence starts where trust begins.
When women lead in their own voice, leadership becomes something else: not about power over, but power with.

*** A Personal Note***
I decided to dedicate part of my energy to women because too often I felt like I was moving forward alone, without a space to speak, share, or question freely.
I have seen brilliant women doubt themselves, self-censor, and conform, when all they needed was a space, a listening ear, or a look that says: you belong here.
These are the spaces I want to create. Sincere, powerful circles of connection and insight.
Moments where we can speak honestly, lower our guard, and leave with clarity, courage, and new energy.
Retail felt like the right place to start. It is an industry powered by women, yet too often quiet at the top.
It is time to bring new voices forward and to lift each other up.
