👚 Discovering Your Style [members]

​"Please bring no clothes," writer Virginia Woolf instructed poet T.S. Eliot when inviting him over for a weekend in the country. She didn't expect him to come with just the garments on his skin. She wanted him to come who as he was – not as a creature molded by the conventions of society.

This workshop series is not mean to instruct you on how to dress or shop or wear clothes. It is meant for you to explore fashion as a form of self-expression and philosophy and bring you closer to dressing true to yourself. It is meant to be a safe place for you to skirt the edges, push the envelope, and -gasp- even dare to wear a little color? Ribbons, an interesting hem, leather and lace, the scarlet pompom sweater you bought because it brought so much joy at first glance before being banished to the dusty corner of your drawers.

​Everyone welcome, from the fashion enthusiasts to people who "wish" they could dress as cool as that gal they spotted on the bus.
