The Thrum with Laura Ward
The Thrum
A monthly somatic practice session with Laura Ward
The Thrum is a guided somatic inquiry — a space to drop below the surface of ordinary experience and move from the inside out. Each session follows its own thread. Sometimes it goes deep and still. Sometimes it gets playful, animal, even funny.
Drawing from Laban/Bartenieff movement analysis, Continuum, micro-movement, non-dual meditation, vocal toning, sacred geometry, sound, and free flow, The Thrum is less a class and more an open practice space: a place to show up, tune in, and see what's there.
This is for you if: You have some background in somatic or embodiment work and are comfortable moving without instruction into open, unstructured experience. You don't need to be a professional mover. But you should be at home enough in your body to find your own way once the door opens.
