Step into a Valentine’s Day experience unlike any other, where love, sound, and vibration invite connection, presence, and play.
Presented by Sonic Unity, My Sonic Valentine: Love Wrapped in Sound is a free, immersive celebration blending live sound, vibroacoustic experiences, vocal toning, and sensory exploration across indoor and outdoor spaces at the Wende Museum.
Marking Sonic Unity’s West Coast debut, this gathering reimagines Valentine’s Day beyond romance, embracing self love, friendship, and community through sound. Guests are invited to move freely, follow the sound, and immerse themselves in a living soundscape of crystal bowls, vibroacoustic frequencies, and heart opening chants. The experience is less a performance and more a gentle, playful journey of curiosity, joy, and connection.
In the spirit of community and celebration of public art, we honored to join NXT Art Foundation at The Wende Museum in Culver City. The message for Attune 1.0 is to AMPLIFY LOVE through a collective sound journey, a sentiment shared by the vibroacoustic connection of Sonic Unity's My Sonic Valentine: Love Wrapped in Sound. We are proud to come together this Valentine's Day for an evening of love, community, and harmony.
Throughout the afternoon, guests may move between live sound sessions in the theater and garden, experience crystal bowls, and engage with vibroacoustic offerings available on a first come, first served basis. Additional interactive and sensory elements weave ancient sound traditions with contemporary sound technologies, inviting ease, listening, and exploration. While a succession of sound performances will occur in the interior theater space, Attune 1.0 will activate in the garden area. Attune is a multi-locational art activation that is launching as a series, starting with its first iteration on Valentines Day. You are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and chairs to come and relax around a light art sculpture as you experience a sound art journey created by local artists that will help you lower anxiety, engage with others and spread love.
This is not a concert or a workshop. It is a curated sonic environment designed for gentle participation and reflection. Open to all, guests are welcome to attend alone, with a partner, or with friends and family, and to experience Valentine’s Day as a moment of connection through sound, vibration, and shared space.
About Sonic Unity
Sonic Unity is a collective devoted to exploring sound as a universal language for healing, connection, and collective resonance. Their work brings together ancient sound traditions and contemporary vibrational technology to create immersive experiences that support nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, embodied presence and community gathering.
Sonic Unity was co-founded by sound artist Sandy Duarte and wellness entrepreneur Melissa Rosen with the mission to foster coherence within the self, between individuals, and across communities through intentional sound and vibratory experiences.
Sandy’s sound practice was born during her journey through chemotherapy as a Stage 4 cancer patient, where sound became a source of calm, grounding, and inner peace. That lived experience informs the depth, care, and intention behind every Sonic Unity offering.
This Valentine’s Day gathering marks the West Coast debut of Sonic Unity’s immersive sound work, following an acclaimed multi-day event during Miami Art Week featuring over 25 sound facilitators of various genres in collaboration for continuous sound programming.
Joining from Florida is advisory board members and special guests - Anthony Profeta, often referred to as “The Mozart of Sound” and recipient of the 2025 Evergreen Sound Artist Award for Best Sound and Isaac Sabu of Biotune Wellness, alongside additional artists to be announced.
