Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day the way it was intended: with good food, great company, and a side of sustainable hoarding.
If you have a vintage gem you haven’t worn since 2014, a board game that’s missing a player, or kitchen supplies you bought during a "chef phase" that never quite happened—bring them along! Let’s find them a home where they’ll actually be used.
📵 A tiny request: We’re keeping this a phone-free zone. Let’s actually look at each other's faces instead of our screens for a few hours. I promise the internet will still be there when we're done! :)
🗓️ Tentative Timings
11:00 AM | Setup & Wander: Arrive, lay out your items, grab a coffee and wonder around to check out whats there.
12:00 PM | The Swap: Find a match to trade items with. Pro tip: Bring some cash to ease the option to buy, even if a direct swap isn't possible. Just note: swap comes first!
13:00 PM | Potluck Brunch: We’ll wrap up the swapping and eat together.
🧺 What to Bring (Besides your charming self)
To Swap: Clothes (clean and hole-free, please!), home decor, tableware, books, or tools. Basically, if you'd be proud to give it to a friend, bring it.
To Eat: Something brunch-y! Think quiche, salads, cake, or fruit. If your oven is currently a storage unit or you’re just not feeling the chef vibes, a 10€ cash-only donation at the door covers your seat at the table. (to cover drinks and food we'll prepare)
🐾 Furry Friends
Dogs are more than welcome to hang out in the garden! We just ask that they stay outside the house and that you keep a watchful eye on them — we’d love to keep the lawn free of "mysterious" holes.
🎁 The "I'm not taking this back" Pile
If you really don't want to lug your leftovers home, we might accept donations of remaining books and board games at the end to find them a permanent home.
Possible to park inside, just let me know in advance!
Last part is uphill/stairs Bare that in mind if you're carrying heavy stuff!
