A beginner-friendly introduction to quantum computing
The threat that quantum computing poses to cryptography
What can be done about this threat and some interesting challenges
Finally, we will end with a participatory discussion on the implications for Crypto and Solana!

Speaker:
Shashvat Shukla is a PhD student in quantum computing at University College London, currently visiting the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore. He is interested in the uses, misuses and abuses of quantum computers. His work spans quantum algorithms, fault-tolerance in quantum computing, information security and responsible innovation.
