Important: Voting eligibility has changed for the 2025-2026 year. Please read below carefully. We recommend you check your Rubric profile to confirm if you're a member of our Rubric organization. Questions can be emailed to [email protected].
🌐 Note: our elections will be hosted in a hybrid format (in-person and online). RSVP to get the in-person location; those who RSVP will also get the meeting link on the day of the election.
Elections:
Candidates will present their speeches one at a time. Once all speeches are done, voting by valid Ada's Team members will commence.
You're eligible to vote for elections if you:
are a current student at the University of Alberta within the current Academic Year (2025-2026); and
are registered as a member of our Rubric organization as of March 31, 2026; and
have completed at least one of the following in the current Academic Year*:
Attended at least 2 events hosted by Ada's Team; or
Volunteered with Ada's Team (e.g. tutor, mentor); or
Participated in an Ada's Team initiative (e.g. conference, mentorship)
*Attendance of the group's events, volunteers of the group, and participation in the group's initiatives will be automatically verified with our records. If we do not have a record of you attending/volunteering/participating as described above, you are ineligible to vote.
Constitution Amendment Proposal
Amendments (changes) to the group's constitution have been proposed. Highlights include a change of our mission statement and a new VP Publicity executive role. This will be open to vote in our election. View the full proposal here.

Please ensure you are a member of our Rubric organization, as that is required to vote and run for executive positions. See the screenshot below:
AGM:
Ada's Team executives will present the highlights of our academic year and all we have achieved. This will include events, conferences, collaborations, and budgets. Participating members are encouraged to ask our executive team any questions at the end of the presentation.
