About Event

Join The Open Accelerator for a fast and furious, single-day hackathon focused on AI the way we like it: fast, local, and open source.

No need to bring cloud subscriptions to this one! This is your chance to build production-viable AI applications right on your machine, using powerful tools like Podman AI Lab, RamaLama, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

With several tiered challenges, from beginner "Vibe Code a Product" to advanced "Multi-Agent Orchestration," there's a path for every skill level, from students to founders to senior engineers.

Registration acceptances will be sent out the week of March 16th along with some pre-reads on the tooling, proposed challenges to conquer, and the precise location. Teams of 3-5 will be formed onsite by those who show up to build!
