You might already know his work. Now it’s time to meet the artist behind it.
We’re welcoming internationally renowned artist Gabriel Lester back to Capital C! Known for his installations, sculptures and architectural interventions, Lester is also the creative mind behind our iconic Peel Plaza, the outdoor artwork (AKA our terrace) at Capital C Diamantbeurs.
This time, he’s taking his creativity indoors with Omen, a new exhibition exploring time, perception and imagination. An omen is a sign of things to come. But perhaps it has already begun.
The exhibition brings together existing works, reimagined ideas and new experiments. Through photography, light, sculpture and everyday materials, Lester creates moments where time seems to stand still, while life at Capital C continues around them.

About Gabriel Lester
Gabriel Lester (1972) is an internationally acclaimed artist, filmmaker and inventor whose work has been exhibited at documenta 13, the Venice Biennale and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, among others. Through his studio PolyLester, he has realised more than fifty public art projects worldwide.
