IGC Pop-up Gallery: 'Rest Resistance' Opening Weekend (Saturday, 27.09)

​Saturdays are for slowing down.

Together with my friends Bhavna and Eric, I’m opening the IGC Space for an afternoon of art, music, and truly great coffee.

​Our barista, Kana, will be serving specialty coffee throughout the day — the perfect companion as you take in Bhavna Shivayogimath’s exhibition Rest Resistance. At 14:30, settle in for an intimate piano performance by Eric, followed by a breathwork session led by Kate Robinson— to gently close off the afternoon.

​Eric Pan is a pianist and composer whose most recent work blends North African polyrhythms with jazz-rooted improvisation. He found his musical footing through a jazz mentorship with Ray Brown at the University of California, which propelled him onto stages alongside Jeff Hamilton and Roy Hargrove, as well as into over a decade of work as a pianist and composer in New York City. Pan’s compositions and improvisations reflect a relentless pursuit of simplicity, craftsmanship, and universality.

​Kate Robinson is a breathwork facilitator, mindfulness educator, and founder of PRANABEAT, an online platform offering breathwork and journaling tools for emotional transformation. With a background in medical sciences and trauma-informed somatic practices, she helps individuals and organizations regulate stress, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves. Kate is also a Global Trainer for Nike’s Well Collective, delivering wellness sessions worldwide.
