​Nicolás Hormazábal is a Chilean vocal coach specializing in contemporary vocal pedagogy and extreme vocal effects. Known for advancing evidence-based approaches to healthy vocal distortion, he has contributed valuable frameworks for understanding and teaching techniques such as rasp, growl, and scream within a pedagogically safe methodology. Currently based in New York, Nicolás integrates science-informed vocal training with practical application for rock and metal singers, promoting accessible, structured, and ethical instruction for distortion across the global voice community.
