About Event

Grab your lens & join one of our core artist members, Aneela Choudhary, as we visually explore the meaning of arrival and survival within the Indo-Caribbean diaspora in NYC in honor of Indian Arrival/Survival Day, commemorated throughout the Caribbean during the month of May to mark the complex migration of our indentured ancestors who journeyed from India to the Caribbean beginning in the 1800s under exploitative conditions.

Create your own short series of images capturing arrival as something that continues to unfold in our Indo-Caribbean Community.

*The location will be shared with those who RSVP. Bring your own digital camera or phone to capture photos.
