Hi everyone – I'm Max Stern.
For those that don't know me already, I'm a Professor at Duke University and former solo-founder who built, scaled, and sold a $48M software business. Read about my founder journey or my course at Duke (The Favorite Course of MBAs).
I've spent the past three years advising 125+ early-stage companies. All of my work is geared at helping startup teams learn hands-on skills and move towards their goals faster.

Do I need to be technical?
No. This workshop is specifically for non-developers. If you can follow instructions and stay curious, you'll get a lot out of it.
What tools will we use?
The one requirement for the workshop is Claude. You'll need an active Claude subscription to participate – if you haven't set one up yet, the pre-workshop guide will walk you through it.
How interactive is it?
Very. Live instruction, peer breakouts, independent build time, and real-time help throughout.
